Four stars are gone. How will the SV women’s scoring map change?
The SV women’s scoring leaderboard could look very different in 2026-27. JVDB’s combined 2024-25 and 2025-26 data makes the reason clear.
Top 5 in attack attempts
1. Rosamaria Montibeller — 4,094 2. Mackenzie May — 3,917 3. Yoshino Sato — 3,911 4. Stephanie Samedy — 3,887 5. Lena Stigrot — 3,804
Rosamaria is the only player above 4,000 attempts. Only 113 separate May in second and Stigrot in fifth. In 2025-26 alone, May rose to 2,302 attempts and Samedy to 2,157, showing how heavily both were used in attack.
Top 5 in total points
1. Rosamaria Montibeller — 1,823 2. Sylvia Nwakalor — 1,815 3. Stephanie Samedy — 1,800 4. Yoshino Sato — 1,724 5. Mackenzie May — 1,617
Rosamaria also leads in points, but Nwakalor is only eight behind and Samedy only 23. Across two seasons, the top three were almost level.
Four of those six players are leaving SV
Only Rosamaria and Nwakalor remain in SV for 2026-27. May, Samedy and Stigrot have left, while Sato is moving to Italy.
Last season those four scored 3,400 points combined. That does not literally mean 3,400 points disappear — teams and match totals differ — but losing that much offensive responsibility at once is enough to reshape the league.
Who takes those swings now?
May, Sato, Samedy and Stigrot also combined for 15,519 attack attempts over the last two seasons. Those sets now have to go somewhere else.
Will Rosamaria and Nwakalor keep control of the scoring race, or will a new contender emerge from more than 15,000 vacated attacks? In 2026-27, watching whose attack volume rises may reveal the new balance of power before the points table does.
